Through their Facebook page, Rongai constituency forum, some defended Moi saying he had been slighted by the Mzalendo Trust report, while others castigated him for being too silent.

"He is doing well on the ground. In fact, he is overworking. Besides, he is better than the loud MPs who at the end of it all speak nothing and do nothing to address the plight of their electorate," stated Mendwa Kipkoskei Benard.

However, Kibet Koskei was categorical that Mr Moi had not delivered, and was a letdown.

He urged his fellow constituents to rise above egocentrism and elect better leaders who can deliver both at the ground and on the floor of the august House.

Lee Chege said the MP was a big joke as he had done nothing concrete and was not discharging his duties effectively as mandated by the constitution.

According to the Mzalendo Trust report released Thursday, Mr Moi was among 27 parliamentarians who did not contribute during plenary discussions in the entire 2015 session.

The report further claimed that the first time lawmaker and his four other colleagues had not made their maiden speech in Parliament since their election in 2013, meaning they had not uttered a word in Parliament.

The other four are Oscar Sudi (Kapseret), Tirus Ngahu (Kangema), Gonzi Rai (Kinango) and Alex Kosgey (Emgwen).
