Kibra MP aspirant Rosemary Odinga has been diagnosed with a brain tumor.
According to the Star, a source in the hospital where she was admitted has revealed this and said that the tumor is however not cancerous.
Rosemary went to the hospital on Friday complaining of a headache, and was later on Sunday moved to Nairobi Hospital.
The Star revealed that she had been at the hospital's Intensive Care Unit (ICU) but was later moved back to Aga Khan Monday morning.
An Aga Khan doctor disclosed that Rosemary has meningioma, which is a brain tumor that isn't life-threatening but which applies some pressure to the brain.
Rosemary is being handled by two surgeons who will make a decision whether or not she undergoes surgery.
According to other sources close to the family, her hospital records are untraceable and only family members are allowed to make visits.
The 39-year-old is currently the eldest in the Odinga family after the passing on of her elder brother Fidel Odinga.
In January, Rosemary announced that she will be contest for Kibra MP in the 2017 August general election.
