The declaration by Raila Odinga's daughter Rosemary on Saturday that she will run for Kibra parliamentary seat has led to the resurgence of many political theories. On Tuesday while speaking on national TV Gichugu MP Njogu Barua came up with a theory terming Rosemary Odinga as Raila's 'manual back-up'.Barua likened Rosemary to the infamous manual backup Bill which Jubilee government passed into law a few weeks ago.In his theory, the Gichugu MP said Raila is using Rosemary as a strategy to get back into active politics in case he fails to capture the presidency in 2017."Raila wants Rosemary to contest for the Kibra seat which she will win and in case he fails to capture the presidency then Rosemary will step down and a by-election will be set where he (Raila) will be elected MP and serve as the opposition chief in parliament, that is my version of the manual back-up," said Barua.
