Opposition leader Raila Odinga could be set for retire from active politics following her daughter's entry to politics, says Gideon Mamboleo.
Mamboleo also adds that this year's elections will be the last for Odinga whether he wins or not.
On Saturday, Rosemary Odinga, Raila's eldest daughter, announced her bid to go for Kibra parliamentary seat in this year's polls.
"I think Odinga is preparing to exit from active politics whether opr not he wins this year's elections. He is keen to have one of his children get in active politics," says Mamboleo.
"Rosemary is the perfect bet because he has nurtured her well. I think we have all seen him taking her to important functions. She will carry the family's banner in year's to come," adds Mamboleo.
Odinga, 72, is set to go for his forth and perhaps the last attempt for presidency after three unsuccessful trials.
