Kenyan women love to look classy, stylish and exotic. That's our brand.

We are foreign in every aspect. We want to wear weaves from Dubai and Brazil, drive guzzlers that are increasingly finding their way into the Kenyan market.

In fact, there is a joke that it's hard to bewitch an African lady because each time you take a piece from her hair to the witch doctor, either its a Brazilian woman  who runs mad or a Chinese factory that goes up in flames.

And now Treasury CS Henry Rotich has bad news for women, oh sorry, sponsors.

The CS who presented the 2016/17 budget in Parliament on Wednesday, introduced a 10 per cent tax on cosmetics, making personal care an expensive affair for women.

Importing a new car will also attract an excise duty of 20 per cent.

This means that sponsors will have to dig deeper into their pockets to maintain their women.

And for sure, you cannot buy someone a car for them to park it in the yard. It must be used for travel and so Rotich knew well how to corner the sponsors by increasing the road maintenance levy.

For the few independent ladies, get ready to dig deeper into your pockets but blame the CS for your woes.

As it stands, weaves and braids will go into extinction, and will only be applying Ng'ombe and above all, Sh10 henna for nail polish.

Yo can make your own henna from tea leaves and sugar. OMG!

You can also wear that weave or wig for months or go bald or wear a Lupita Nyong'o look.

For those who are ready to make quick cash, it's your turn to terrorise your sponsors.

Sponsored ladies change hairstyles to catch up with the latest trends. They never want someone to beat them.

And if you are the Vera Sidika type, whose weave costs Sh450,000, then sponsors  need to work extra, extra hard.

They want to drive sleazy cars which no doubt cost a leg and an arm.

And when the sponsors finally go underground because they can't maintain such a lifestyle; water, soap and Ng'ombe will do.

Until the next budget is read, sponsors be warned; it's a season sleepless nights.

Sponsors, enyewe, mwanamke ni urembo na gari!
