The MPs, Rachel Shebesh (Nairobi Women Rep), Sabina Chege (Muranga Women Rep), Alice Wahome (Kandara), Hellen Sambili (Mogotio), Joyce Laboso (Deputy Speaker, Parliament), Zipporah Kering' (Nandi Women Rep), Beatrice Elachi (Nominated Senator) and Mary Emase (Teso South) abandoned the meeting at Apokor Youth Polytechnic convened to drum up support for Jubilee ahead of 2017.

Hell broke when the Shebesh told the gathering to support Jubilee for the country to realise development.

"I know I am in an ODM zone but I have to tell you the naked truth," she said.

"We want to move to Jubilee with the rest of the country starting with Busia county. We shall not be shaken."

But before proceeding with her speech, youth clad in ODM T-shirts began chanting anti-Jubilee slogans bringing the meeting to a halt.

It was after the intervention Ms Emase that calm was restored.

Busia is an ODM stronghold and majority of the MP in the county belong to the Cord coalition.

After the meeting, however, Emase said she would take legal action against the youth who disrupted the gathering.
