Drama ensued on Thursday in Nandi Hills Town when supporters of Bernard Kibor physically confronted area MP Alfred Keter moments after losing his seat.

Youths allegedly allied to Kibor blocked the main highway as Keter and his team made their entry into the town as he addressed gatherings over nullification of his victory.

At Eldoret, Judge Kanyi Kimondo ordered IEBC to conduct fresh polls in Nandi Hills, citing massive cases of bribery and violation of electoral laws.

But a visibly charged Keter made stopovers along Eldoret-Nandi Hills highway where he linked his woes to 'corrupt cartels'.

For at least 20 minutes, the rival supporters clashed before the intervention of area police who managed to bring order.

Should he fail to appeal, Keter risks losing Jubilee ticket due to his persistent rebellious nature that has rubbed wrongly party henchmen.

Interestingly, his rival is a life member of KANU, a party that is second in terms of popularity with Jubilee in Rift Valley region.
