Its good news for the Kenyan athletics team as world 800m record holder David Rudisha got back to training ahead of the new season.
Rudisha suffered an injury before the August world championships in London.
“It is very unfortunate that I suffered an injury two weeks before the IAAF World Championships in London, where I was targeting to win another title,” he said.
The two-time Olympic champion is yet to decide whether he will take part in the April's Commonwealth games, Continental cup or Africa championships.
