Kenya's National Rugby 15 aside team lost 40-30 to hosts Hong Kong in their last match of the Hong Kong Cup of Nations at Kings Park Sports Ground.
The loss saw Kenya finish last in the four nations championship, having been beaten in all their matches as Russia retained the trophy for the third consecutive time, defeating Chile 42-11 in the final match of the tournament.
Philip Ikambili scored Kenya’s first try from a line-out deep in Hong Kong territory.
Mukidza’s conversion brought Kenya to within eight, trailing 22-13 at half-time. Kenya had a strong start to the second half as Mukidza converted Samson Onsomu’s try to reduce the deficit to 20-22 but Hong Kong hit back through Yiu Kam Sheing to extend the lead to 27-20.
Vincent Mose and Oliver Mang'eni scored two more tries for Kenya but the hosts held on to win 40-30 courtesy of a try and two penalties.
