A family in Murera, Ruiru is appealing for financial help to cater for the medication of their three months old daughter who is suffering from a heart condition.

Alice Natalia Kiarie who was born in December last year was diagnosed with a condition known cyanosis which is caused by presence of holes in the heart.

The family also lost their 10 months old son from head complications early last year.

According to the girl's father Joseph Kiarie, "doctors treating Natalia at Kenyatta National Hospital has said that the treatment is available in India at a whooping Sh2 Million which is far a way beyond our reach as a family."

"We were told that the baby's purified and un purified blood contaminates which makes her lips and hands look blue in colour,” said Kiarie.

The parents are now appealing to well-wishers to donate money save the lives of the young child.

“We are urging well wishers to help us get medical care for her,” Wanjiru the mother.
