Ruiru MP Simon King'ara has called on President Uhuru Kenyatta to now start a healing process geared towards reconciling the communities and Kenyans as a whole.

The Jubilee MP also called on NASA leaders to respect the Supreme Court ruling and preach peace in order to bring back sanity adding that violence would never bring any change to this country but would further polarize the nation.

The legislator was addressing Ruiru residents who were celebrating the upholding of President Uhuru Kenyatta's reelection by the Supreme Court.

“I would like to call on Kenyans to maintain peace for the country to move on MPs could not even give out bursaries to needy students due to the situation in the country.” King’ara.

Ruiru residents spent the whole of yesterday celebrating and dancing along the Thika Super High way. This followed the Supreme Court ruling by chief justice David Maraga.
