Police have engaged NASA supporters in running battles along Mombasa Road and Jogoo Road, as they received NASA leader Raila Odinga.

They had arrived at the JKIA to receive opposition leader following his return from the US on Friday.

However, police blocked some of them from accessing the Airport by blocking different points of both Jogoo and Mombasa Road, a move that angered the supporters.

Out of the anger, the supporters lit bonfires and blocked Jogoo Road, forcing the police to hurl tear gas canisters to disperse them.

Odinga used Mombasa road to the capital city amid huge crowds following him.
