[Photo|Facebook]Tension is high in Migori town, after supporters of the National Super Alliance (Nasa), took to streets to protest, over planned election, scheduled for Saturday October 28.Anti-riot officers engaged the protesters in running battles, for the better part of Friday afternoon.Teargas canisters were lobbed at the residents, forcing them to run for their dear lives, even as a heavy contingent of Police was sent to unblock barricaded roads, to allow transportation of electoral materials.The officers managed to disperse away the protesters so as to remove the stones used to block the roads, with help of some few residents, who were forced to do so.Residents warned that they would not allow the election to go on.The situation was same in Homa Bay county.Residents were dispersed using teargas canisters.In Bungoma, tension was high, after one person was killed.NASA supporters barricaded Bungoma-Mumias road, to express their anger.
