Russia has warned its citizens during the next general election slated for August 8.
According to the Kremlin state, protests are a possibility around the election period.
Russia’s Foreign Ministry said in a tweet that “on the eve of the General Election, protests are possible”.
The ministry further cited the dawn-to-dusk curfews in place in parts of Mandera, Garissa, Lamu and Tana River since July 8.
The Russian message comes after the United Kingdom’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office issued a travel warning to its citizen.
