Kisumu deputy governor, Ruth Odinga is not happy with her brother, who is also the Cord leader, Raila Odinga, for meeting with governors in Naivasha.
She accused some governors who met up with Cord leader, Raila of burdening him with party nominations.
She pointed out that the county bosses should instead focus on ways to better their counties and better their leadership skills.
"Some of the governors know that they have failed on service delivery and are seeking solace from Raila," Ruth said.
She urged the leadership in ODM to allow for fair nominations so that all contestants got a fair chance to compete.
"I, therefore, wonder why the governors should invite Raila to ask for free and fair nomination. Don't they have no faith in the nomination process?" she asked.
The deputy governor also said that direct nominations will be unfair for aspirants who are working hard to look for votes from the people. She, therefore, challenged the county bosses to show what they have done for their people and why they should be re-elected.
