Deputy President William Ruto has responded to Raila Odinga’s call for another presidential election within 90 days.
Odinga, the National Super Alliance (Nasa) leader, said the election held on October 26 was a sham, hence the need for another free and fair election.
He was speaking in Kwangware on Sunday during an opposition rally.
The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader also dismissed those calling for his retirement.
"I will not retire because Ruto says so, I will retire when I want. What matters is not the age but one’s ideas," he said.
However, speaking to Citizen Digital, DP Ruto dismissed Odinga’s call, saying Jubilee Party will not dialogue with Nasa on anything to do with elections.
Ruto said the election held on Thursday was final.
Odinga withdrew from the presidential race after the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) failed to meet opposition’s irreducible minimums.
The former prime minister at the same time asked his supporters not to take part in the poll, which he described as a “sham.”
