Deputy President William Ruto has assured Wangige residents of Jubilee government commitment to improve their roads, boost security and upgrade hospitals in the area.
Addressing residents at Wangige town on Sunday, Ruto said that the Jubilee government is working with their local leaders in Kiambu to ensure locals have good roads, security and better hospitals.
Ruto said that national government has partnered with the Kiambu government to improve roads.
The DP said that Jubilee government will push for development that will transform local’s lives.
“I want to assure you (locals) that the Jubilee government is focused on bettering your lives through good roads, better hospitals and enhanced security.
The DP also revealed that the national government will set up more technical institutions in Wangige in efforts to boost education.
He said that technical institutions will provide education to young people who failed to join universities and colleges.
The Deputy President urged residents to remain peaceful.
He asked the locals not to be swayed by tribal politics being perpetuated by some politicians.
