Speaking on Sunday at Kirenga African Inland Church in Lari sub-county, Kiambu County, where he joined other worshippers, Ruto affirmed that all Jubilee members will be under one umbrella party in 2017 general elections.

“Uhuru Kenyatta will vie for the seat under Jubilee Alliance party come 2017 and I want to assure you that the party has no divisions whatsoever. I want to urge others form the opposition to follow suit and shun divisions and other plans of dividing Kenyans,” said Ruto.

He also accused the opposition of harbouring bad motives of tarnishing the governments name in the face of Kenyans.

“I want to advise my colleagues from the opposition side that this is the best time to unite all Kenyans in readiness of the forthcoming elections. I personally advocate for clean politics with development agenda and the public interest at heart,” he said.

Ruto also urged Kenyans to take medical covers with the revamped National Hospital Insurance Fund to ease the burden of footing huge medical bills.

“We have upgraded the scheme and it has now been extended to cater for inpatient and outpatient services. We want to put an end to cases where Kenyans have to sell their cows, plots parting with the only source of income to pay huge medical bills. It is a health scheme for al Kenyans,” he added.
