[Photo| the-star]Deputy President William Ruto has called on Kenyans to build bridges of friendship and partnership that would support nation building.Ruto who spoke on Thursday in Kirinyaga county said that the season for political competition was over and that a new chapter had been opened for Kenyans to work together and transform the country.“The time for political competition is over. We are now in a new chapter where we need to work together and transform the lives of Kenyans,” said Ruto.“The period of politicking is now behind us, it’s time to unite and build together a nation that we all believe in and move on,” the Deputy President added.The DP had accompanied President-elect Uhuru Kenyatta to the county to launch Kshs 19 billion Thiba dam which is aimed at improving food production and also allow the residents access clean water for domestic use.
