Deputy president William Ruto has referred Bomet governor Isaac Ruto's Chama Cha Mashinani party as a village political outfit.
The DP who was speaking during an interview on K24 praised Ruto as a good leader but the move to form CCM has tainted his political image.
"Isaac Ruto is a good leader. But his political move to form a village party has worsened his political career. CCM party does not represent the people of Bomet county but Isaac Ruto's village," said Ruto during the Wednesday interview.
He further stated that the Kalenjin community is united under Jubilee and it was wrong for his opponents to criticise him for traversing the country seeking votes on behalf of the ruling coalition.
"People asking me to stop going round across the country are doomed. I am used to any critics from opponents but Jubilee party agenda is to united Kenyans", noted Ruto.
