Deputy President William Ruto commissioned the construction of Masalani-Wema road in Garissa County during his visit early this week.
The Deputy president said that once complete, the road will ease access to schools, hospitals, markets, attract business people and make travel-ling an enjoyable experience.
"The road linking Tana river and Garissa counties will ease access to schools, hospitals, attract businesses people and make travelling an enjoyable experience." he stated.
Majority leader Aden Duale, who was present during the event congratulated Jubilee government for reaching out to his people.
Duale said the road will link Tana River and Garissa at Boji, and will ease ease movement of people and goods in the area once complete.
