Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto has launched a scathing attack on President Uhuru Kenyatta’s administration, saying Jubilee regime is the worst in the history of Kenya.
The National Super Alliance (NASA) co-principal said Kenyans have suffered at the hands of President Kenyatta, more than they did during the tenure of the retired President Daniel Moi.
“The last four years under Jubilee administration have been the worst for Kenyans. The leadership of retired President Daniel Moi was much better than this of Uhuru,” Ruto said during a campaign rally in Nakuru County over the weekend.
The Chama Cha Mashinani leader accused Jubilee of lying to Kenyans that maize flour is available in retail stores across the country.
“They are just using unga to play politics. The said maize flour is non-existent anywhere. It is only found in televisions,” the NASA leader remarked.
He urged residents to back the Opposition in the August polls, saying that NASA is determined to liberate Kenyans from ‘tribal’ Jubilee government.
“After we saw that Kenyans are suffering due to poverty subjected to them by Uhuru and Ruto, the five of us talked and agreed on the way forward,” he said.
The Governor added: “I assure you that you are safe in my hands, unlike DP Ruto who is doing business. NASA has a face of Kenya, unlike Jubilee that is being led by two fellows,” Ruto added.
