Deputy President William Ruto has dismissed the opposition saying they don’t have any agenda for this country.
Ruto also said Cord lacks the popular support the Jubilee administration enjoys.
The Deputy President who was speaking at Butere Girls High School said Cord was only keen on empty rhetoric, causing mayhem, taking advantage of, and exploiting unfortunate incidents to politic.
Ruto told the Luhya community to back the government as it will win the general election next year.
The DP said the Jubilee administration has a clear development agenda for the country.
Taveta MP Dr Naomi Shaban and her Teso North counterpart Mary Emaase who were among legislators in the Deputy President’s delegation, urged the Luhya community to embrace change and join the ruling coalition to achieve faster development in the region.
