Deputy President William has said that the Jubilee Party is already geared for the 2017 general elections and accused opposition Cord of being 'confused' and working as an NGO.
Speaking in Kwale county on Sunday, Ruto said that whereas Jubilee was trying to bring together all Kenyans, the Cord team was struggling to scuttle the nation into confusion and disarray.
“Wale wenngine wamechanganyikiwa. Hawajui nani kiongozi wao, hawajui watapigia kura nani, chama chao kiko na confusion. Hata hiyo Cord wameshindwa kuregister kama chama sasa imekaa tu kama NGO (Those other people (in Cord) are confused. They don’t know who their leader is, they don't know whom they will vote, their party has confusion. Even that Cord (Coalition), they are unable to register it as a party and now it looks like an NGO),” Ruto said.
“Now to you the Kwale resident I want to ask: will you fail to choose those who want to take you and move Kenya ahead between the government of Uhuru Kenyatta and these other confused people? Will you fail to choose even if it is at night?” Ruto asked.
Also at the function was National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale who echoed Ruto’s sentiments and asked Kwale residents to vote massively for Jubilee in the next general polls.
