Deputy President William Ruto has once again launched a scathing attack on the opposition, claiming that they are unprepared for the August polls.
“In Jubilee, we have President Uhuru Kenyatta as our flag bearer. We have Jubilee Party as our vehicle to the elections. But those in the opposition have not agreed on whether it will be Raila, Kalonzo, Wetang'ula or Mudavadi," he said.
Speaking on Monday in Mumias, Ruto further claimed that the opposition leaders have no new agenda for Kenyans, despite most of them serving the country in different capacities.
“Some of them were in leadership when some of us were in school. We used to line up and sing for them when we were small children in school. But today, they are still fighting us whenever we come up with programmes to improve living standards," he said.
Ruto exuded confidence that the Jubilee Party would emerge victorious in the next general elections, observing that the administration has delivered key services pledged to Kenyans during the 2013 polls.
