Deputy President William Ruto has dismissed calls by Cord leader Raila Odinga to have foreign countries fund the opposition.
Ruto who was speaking on Saturday said that Kenyans should conduct their affairs independently without influence from foreign nations.
"It is unfortunate that some of our worthy competitors are asking foreigners' help to fund their campaigns and influence the forthcoming polls," Ruto said.
The DP was speaking at Bukhalalire High School, Butula constituency, Busia County.
He added that it was unfortunate for leaders to call for foreign help yet Kenyans had the capability to elect the right leaders.
Ruto further dismissed the opposition as an outfit that lacks any agenda for the country.
"I ask you to support Jubilee in the 2017 election. Those in the Opposition have no agenda for you. When we plan development they are busy planning for demonstrations," he said.
On Friday, Odinga called on foreign nations to fund the opposition equally just like the incumbents.
