Speaking on Sunday in Nyahururu during a rally, Ruto, who accompanied president Kenyatta further took a swipe at the opposition, saying they should stop being petty and instead face them (Jubilee) on October 26

“He should stop the demonstrations, leave Matiang’i, Chebukati and Chiloba alone, he should prepare for the elections because Kenyans are ready to decide again at the polls,” said Deputy President William Ruto.

“Kenyans do not have a problem, stop the demons, the clashes and Kenyans will vote and decide who will lead them,” he added.

The Jubilee administration has further warned the opposition against the demonstrations, which on several occasions have turned chaotic and leading to deaths.

“There are no peaceful demonstrations which include stoning the police, no peaceful demonstrations which lead to stoning of cars and looting from innocent Kenyans. If you want peaceful demos, hold peaceful demos, otherwise, you will face the full force of the law,” added Kenyatta.

The president on the other hand insisted that the country was peaceful and not facing any crisis whatsoever.

Odinga returned to the country on Sunday after a few days’ tour in UK, holding a public rally in Mombasa’s Mama Ngina grounds.
