Speaking on Saturday in Kwale County, Ruto blamed the opposition CORD of employing unorthodox strategies to portray the government in bad light.

The DP said the opposition was distracting Jubilee administration from delivering on their development agenda.

“Those who are competing with us have no plan for this country. Their manifesto is how to generate propaganda and hold demonstrations. Kenyans will have an easy choice,” he said.

Ruto's defence of the government comes days after CORD Leader Raila Odinga warned that corruption in the government spearheaded by Jubilee will plunge the nation into an economic crisis.
