Deputy President William Ruto has slammed the Opposition for questioning government’s swift move of importing maize from Mexico.

The import seeks to help stabilize the price of maize flour.

“When we order food, you want to it delay so that you can get something to about in you political rallies,” said Ruto.

He was speaking while attending a Sunday service at PEFA Sinoko Church in Webuye – Bungoma County.
