Deputy President William Ruto and Majority leader Aden Duale were on Monday embarrassed by angry youths, who literally chased them out of a rally.
During the rally that was held in Garissa Primary School, the two Jubilee leaders were confronted by the angry youths who chanted ODM mantra and singing songs praising ODM leader Raila Odinga.
According to the youths, they were tired of Jubilee’s leadership, and want to support Raila’s bid for the top seat in the next general elections.
The incident comes as a big blow to president’s Kenyatta re-election bid, as he was hoping he would use Duale’s influence to get votes from the North eastern county.
The incident will also give Duale sleepless nights, as he looks to retain his seat in the next elections and will come up against perennial rival Farah Maalim.
