NASA leader Raila Odinga has dismissed Deputy President William Ruto’s endorsement of Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko for the Nairobi gubernatorial seat and termed it inconsequential.

Instead, Raila vowed to ensure Jubilee do not win anything in Nairobi and accused the central government of failing to disburse more than Sh50 billion it owes Kidero's government for development projects.

“We will make sure that Jubilee does not win in Nairobi. County governments have not done much because a lot of money has been retained at the national level,” Raila said.

This came just hours after Kidero had termed Sonko's choice of a runningmate as a Jubilee project and expressed optimism that Nairobians will choose him again.

“I am sure Nairobians will give us another chance to finish our projects,” said Kidero.
