The Governor said he had all the reasons to believe Waiguru on the information she presented before the Public Accounts Committee (PAC).

"I am also persuaded to believe Waiguru was saying the truth, she was very eloquent in her presentation," he said.

"She should be given another opportunity to tell us more without any fear or favour," the Chama Cha Mashinani party leader added.

Ruto also took a swipe at the Jubilee government saying it had neglected Kalenjins.

He said Jubilee was only after the community's numbers to garner voters at the expense of helping residents.

"What we want is fairness not using our numbers to tyrannise the rest of the country. We don’t want the tyranny of numbers against other communities," the county boss said during a prayer-cum-thanksgiving rally at Bomet stadium on Sunday.
