Deputy President William Ruto has reiterated government’s commitment to boost and improve living standards of Kenyans.
Speaking at Kikuyu town over the weekend, Ruto said the government has put in place elaborate measures to ensure Kenyans have access to quality and affordable services.
The DP indicated that various development initiatives have been commissioned across the country adding that no Kenyan will be denied access to services.
Ruto said that Kenyans have a right to access services stating that leaders should focus on promoting service delivery.
“The government has put in place enough policies to ensure Kenyan people get the services they deserve,” said the DP.
Ruto said that the government will not be distracted by forces which he indicated are keen to ensure the Jubilee government fails.
He added that the Jubilee government will be guided by principles of democracy and fairness in its discharge of services.
The DP asked politicians engaging in petty politics to desist and instead work for the people who voted them to office.
“My appeal is to leaders to focus on promoting the lives of the people,” he added.
Ruto at the same time called on youths across the county to take part in development. He said that the government has the interests of young and that they should take advantage of the opportunities being provided to improve their lives.
