Deputy President William Ruto maintains that the Gusii community is backing Jubilee administration given 'tremendous' development initiated in the region.
He further says the opposition would suffer a humiliating defeat since people were tired of 'rhetoric and innuendos'.
The DP, who was in a voter registration campaign, addressed several roadside rallies in the swing region that voted for opposition overwhelmingly in 2013.
"They think that Gusii people do not have eyes. I am sure you are fully in Jubilee and that is a reality they should start embracing soonest," he said.
He further said: " We are tired of political rhetoric and innuendos. They have done nothing substantive while in power and I want you to show them in August."
The Gusii region votes are key to opposition team which seeks to score 100 percent from Nyanza region and has seen former PM Raila Odinga visit regularly.
On Friday, a section of Gusii Jubilee leaders were heckled in a funeral held at Kitutu Masaba when advancing Jubilee government agenda.
