Deputy President William Ruto seems to be the happiest senior politician after the Supreme Court upheld the reelection of President Uhuru Keyatta. 

He took to his twitter to share his elation after the ruling on Monday. 

“Hallelujah! Glory to God in heaven. He has remembered our nation, given us hope and future. Wakenya jameni mubarikiwe mpaka mshangae together,” the DP tweeted.

In a unanimous verdict read by Chief Justice David Maraga, the six-judge bench dismissed petitions challenging Uhuru's win saying 'it lacked merit'.
