Deputy president William Ruto today hosted Governor William Kabogo in Kuresoi Nakuru County.
Accompanied by Moses Cheboi the area MP, Jacob Macharia – MP Molo, John Waluke-MP sirisia and other leaders they issued title deeds to residents of Kamara, Kuresoi North Constituency.
Speaking at the ceremony the deputy president said that the government will fast-track the issuance of title deeds to the over four millions Kenyans that lack the vital document. The said title deeds are being processed by the lands ministry.
Kabogo accompanying Ruto is seen as a strategy to cool the rising temperatures in Jubilee coalition days after kabogo’s utterances caused muddle in the coalition.
On June 4 at Juja Kiambu County, Kabogo told a rally he was addressing that Ruto was not automatically guaranteed of the Central vote in 2022.
This words attracted criticism to the Kiambu governor where many said that was his opinion and that no one had appointed him to be the community’s spokesman.
Kabogo later clarified that he just wanted to ensure that the interests of Central Kenya are secure, Words that were backed by the Kikuyu council of elders on Tuesday.
Initially the remarks were interpreted to mean that Ruto was not Jubilee’s automatic candidate in 2022.
