Internal wrangles within the ruling Jubilee party could escalate after Deputy President on Tuesday hinted possible friction within the party.
On Sunday, Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen warned that if the cracks are not solved, then the two principals could find it difficult to 'build the wall'.
And at Rigoma on Monday, a defiant Ruto insisted that he cannot be distracted by 'few devils' sitting in State House adding that he is keen on service delivery.
"I have heard a lot of issues about 2022 and I don't want to join the debate. I am keen to serve people who elected me," he said.
The DP added: "Those devils sitting somewhere as Mose (Shadrack) has said cannot decide the direction this country is taking. I am not afraid of anyone."
Earlier, Kitutu Masaba MP Shadrack Mose had ignited the debate after claiming that State House is keen to hamper Ruto's 2022 bid.
According to Murkomen, a section of policy makers within Office of the President are keen to sabotage Ruto's ascendancy to power, adding that lifestyle audit was cleverly brought to intimidate the DP.
