Deputy President William Ruto has rubbished claims by COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli that he is making many endless trips to Kakamega county in a bid to gunner votes for Jubilee party.

Speaking in Ikolomani on Saturday, Ruto said that he has all the rights to visit any place in the country as many times as possible.

"Kakamega county is my neighbor and I will visit as many times as possible. No one has the right to decide for me on the number of trips I have to make to this place or any other place in the country," said Ruto.

Ruto further stated that voters should not be forced to elect any individual at the same time urging Ikolomani residents to join Jubilee party since it will form the next general election.

Earlier, Atwoli had claimed that Ruto was frequenting the area to engage in cheap verbal talk with the aim of sourcing for votes ahead of the next polls.
