Deputy President William Ruto is wearing a brave face but has been cornered by political cartels out to sabotage his 2022 presidential ambition, a Jubilee MP has said.
East African Legislative Assembly MP Simon Mbugua said that there are people in government who are working to ensure Ruto does not become president.
"Karanja Kibicho and Nancy Gitau are plotting the Deputy President's downfall. And you all can see that Ruto is now confused but just wearing a brave face. These people are sabotaging his 2022 bid," Mbugua said.
The MP was lamenting an alleged harassed by the Interior PS Karanja Kibicho whom he accused of orchestrating his recent arrest over the harassment of former Nairobi CBDA chairman Timothy Muriuki.
