According to Rongai MP Raymond Moi, Ruto has misconceived the presidential title, noting that such a position calls for sobriety, especially when in the public limelight.

Raymond further alleges that the DP is gradually becoming insecure of his political future, a statement he attributed to the frequent attacks he directs to other national leaders.

Speaking on Thursday in Nakuru town, Moi noted that Ruto is killing his popularity by launching personal attacks on opposition chief, Raila Odinga every time he gets the chance.

"Ruto has become so much insecure of late and is seemingly unaware of the looming political shock that is staring at him in 2022. He should stop regarding everybody in the Cord opposition as his personal enemy because by attacking political icons like Raila each time, he is doing it against himself. The real issue that DP Ruto has against the opposition is that he considers Raila as his stumbling block in politics," noted Moi.

The lawmaker, however, appealed Ruto to tone down his political ego against Raila noting that he will need his support come 2022.
