Speaking to journalists in Eldoret town, Seii said the move is essential for the sake of unity of Kalenjins.

He said reconciliation will ensure the politicians don't wash their dirty linen in public.

"As Kalenjin leaders we are really saddened by the division among Kalenjin political leaders as witnessed in the Kericho by-election. The campaigns were manned by abusive and divisive politics which portrayed a bad picture that Kalenjins are divided, which might scare other politicians from other tribes to work with us," he said.

He said the DP must call for a meeting and reconcile with the Jubilee defectors for the sake of peace and unity.

"We want all Kalenjin leaders to work together for the good of our people. How will our people benefit when we are always quarreling among ourselves?" he posed.
