Ruto also adds that the government is keen to rig Bomet gubernatorial seat in favour of National Assembly Deputy Speaker Joyce Laboso.

“Jubilee is trembling and they do not want to admit that they have lost popularity. We know their plans of rigging national wide polls because they have become a burden to ordinary Kenyans,” he said at Ndanai on Sunday.

“I am also aware of the plot to rig me in favour of Joyce. That is unacceptable and as people, we cannot allow it to happen. They have lost track in Rift Valley and that is a bitter fact that we should all accept,” he added.

Ruto’s remarks come a day after opposition leader Raila Odinga paid him a courtesy call at his Chepalungu home.
