Deputy William Ruto has exuded confidence that Jubilee will trounce Cord leader Raila Amolo Odinga together with his NASA brigade in the forthcoming general polls.

Ruto, who spoke on Monday, said that the Jubilee leadership has nothing to fear after NASA leaders agreed to front former Prime Minister as the Presidential candidate and Wiper Party leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka as his running mate ahead of the August General polls.

The DP said that the current government has initiated many projects in different parts of the nation, adding that he has no doubt of victory when that time comes.

“There is nothing to fear at all. As the government, we have done a lot including settling infrastructure among many other sectors,” he said.

The legislator, who has been vocal on matters affecting the common mwananchi added: “NASA did not give us anything new. It was the same political con man whom we shall defeat as usual. I hope this time around he will retire peacefully.”

The remarks of the Deputy President come at a time when both Jubilee and NASA leaders are attempting to woo the electorate to back their flag bearer ahead of the August polls. President Uhuru Kenyatta will be locking horns with Cord leader for the last time.
