Namwamba on Sunday said that he has not joined Jubilee and has no plans of joining the ruling party.

The former ODM secretary general instead said that he is working on plans of forming a third force that will rival Cord and Jubilee in the 2017 general election.

“I have not joined jubilee and claims by the Deputy President are not true,” he said.

Ababu further denied claims that he was bribed to quit the Orange party.

Namwamba said that his agenda is not to join any other party but to unite Kenyans. He claimed that Kenyans are being used by selfish and petty politicians.

On Saturday DP Ruto claimed that Ababu had joined Jubilee. Ruto said that every Kenyan had the right to join political party of his or her choice.

He said that people should not be condemned for exercising their political rights.

Ababu resigned as ODM secretary general two weeks ago.

There have been claims that Ababu and other leaders who have ditched the Orange party are headed to Jubilee.

A section of leaders in opposition have termed Ababu’s exit from ODM as a political suicide.

ODM leader Raila Odinga is expected to pitch camp in Western Kenya to consolidated support following his fallout with Namwamba.
