[Photo| @WilliamsRuto]Deputy President William Ruto met Magline Jeruto, Kenya’s representative to the 2017 Miss World pageant, at the Harambee Annex Office in Nairobi, Wednesday.Jeruto who comes from Elgeyo Marakwet county made Kenya proud after she finished at an impressive fifth place on Saturdays coronation in Sanya, China.Miss world title was won by Manushi Chhillar of India.Expressing his joy, Ruto said Kenya had made Kenya to gain global recognition once again. "We continue to gain global recognition thanks to the exploits of our ever growing pool of talent," said Ruto. The DP described her as an outstanding ambassador who and lauded her campaign to raise awareness on autism. "Magline Jeruto is an outstanding ambassador, who emerged fifth during the Miss World Pageant in China. We laud her campaign to raise awareness on autism," Ruto added.
