Deputy President William Ruto claims other four Nasa principals are not sure of a win in the August general election.
While speaking in Cheptais grounds in Mt Elgon, Mr Ruto urged voters to support Jubilee because it was pointless to vote for the Opposition team that cannot beat the Government.
“Even Nasa point man in Bungoma County Moses Wetangula is seeking to be elected to the senate because he knows they cannot win the August polls,” said Mr Ruto.
He went on: “Our opponents do not have faith in their presidential candidate. Despite being given posts in Nasa they are still seeking elective seats.”
Mr Ruto said the Government is supporting farmers to increase production by reducing the cost of fertilizers and seeds to ensure there is food security in the country.
Water CS Eugene Wamalwa who, among other Western Kenya politicians accompanied the DP said leaders from the region allied to Nasa were misleading the community for their selfish gains.
