A re-known blogger has told Deputy President William Ruto to remain watchful as time ticks towards 2022.
He told the DP that his closest political enemies are not in the opposition but in Jubilee, the coalition he belongs to.
Robert Alai, while on a KTN talk show said what the DP should expect after President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election in 2017 should a 'war' against him.
He said those close to the President were plotting to 'bring the DP down' and frustrate his 2022 political ambitions.
"After the President is elected for a second term, the first project to tackle is to stop the DP," he said.
"He is going to be fought and stopped."
Alai also claimed that former presidential candidate Peter Kenneth, Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohammed and Baringo Senator Gedion Moi are all being used as 2022 projects.
Alai accused the Jubilee government of failing to deliver to Kenyans.
He however, said despite that they will still be reelected.
"The Jubilee government has failed and the unfortunate thing is that they are going to be reelected," he said.
