[Photo|Nasa coalition]Former Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto has been criticised, after he dumped the National Super Alliance (Nasa) and joined Jubilee Party. The former fifth Nasa principal and CCM party leader openly declared his support for President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto, during a political rally at Kapkatet, Kericho County last week. However, Nominated ODM MP Wilson Sossion, finds Ruto's exit from Nasa as a drop in the ocean. The Kenya National Union of Teachers Secretary General indicated that Ruto had left no vacuum within the alliance, in the South Rift region, saying, he only went with his vote"He has gone alone to Jubilee. Nasa supporters in Rift Valley are solidly behind our presidential candidate Raila Odinga. Ruto has betrayed a course that he started. What happens to devolution of 45 per cent of national revenue to counties as he used to say?" wondered the lawmaker.Speaking in Bomet over the weekend, Sossion who represents workers at the National Assembly further indicated that Ruto had left to Jubilee for selfish reasons, and further affirmed that he would gladly campaign for Nasa in the region."It is clear now that Ruto and his team have decided to betray Kenyans for selfish interest. We have planned campaigns in Bomet and several places in Rift Valley. We are confident and the presidency should not be preserved for some individuals and the coming poll will vindicate that," he added.Ruto moved to support Jubilee alongside KANU's Emurua Dikirr MP Johanna Ng'eno, who was also a staunch critic of the Jubilee administration.
