Details emerging claim Deputy President William Ruto is not comfortable with the appointment of former Nakuru governor Kinuthia Mbugua to the position of state house comptroller.
Mbugua was named on January 5 by President Uhuru Kenyatta during a press address to the nation where he also named a part of his cabinet.
A local daily, however, has splashed a story on an 'ongoing cold war' between the president and his deputy over those named.
Sources said Lawrence Lenayapa, who was holding the position, is Ruto's buddy and political ally and had been leaking state house briefs to him.
These briefs include who visits state house.
It's said Ruto was opposed to Lenayapa 'firing', and if it was to happen, the position would then be taken by his political fixer Davis Chirchir.
