Deputy President William Ruto has thrown a scathing attack at the opposition by accusing them of planning and executing violence on their opponent.
On Monday, Ruto was forced to cancel a rally scheduled in Bungoma Bus stage after a group of rowdy youths blocked his convoy along Mumias-Bungoma highway.
The Deputy President however, managed to address a rally at Kanduyi, few Kilometers from the venue of the abandoned rally.
"The opposition team has nothing new to offer to Kenyans. They can only plan and execute violence on opponents and those are he kind of leaders who want to lead our country," he said.
Ruto added: "Our country cannot be run by goons who incite youths against other leaders. We should embrace free expressions and respect to other leaders whether you agree with them or not."
Last week, the DP was heckled by thousands of residents in Narok, who accused the Jubilee administration of giving them a raw deal in terms of development.
